Reminder for

a well-prepared descent


Recommended outfit:

  • Shorts, a T-shirt and swimsuit.
  • Bring a windbreaker.
  • Wearing closed shoes (basketball, slippers, etc.) is compulsory (ministerial decree of 4 May 1995).
  • Spare items and toiletries for arrival.

Recommended equipment:

  • Sun protection (hat or cap, T-shirt, cream).
  • Glasses ( 1 cord to attach them).
  • Picnic or snack.
  • Water (Minimum 1 liter per person).
  • Bath towel.

Equipment provided:

  • Boats (canoe/kayak).
  • Paddles.
  • Life vest.
  • Canisters (the tightness of canisters is not guaranteed by Beau Rivage).

Important :

Beau Rivage is not responsible for lost or broken personal items, so it is best not to bring valuables to your activity.

Cancellation Policy:

Beau Rivage reserves the right to cancel any departure for safety reasons (river level too high, weather alert, possibility of storms, etc.) Respect our environment:

  • Respect the fauna and flora.
  • Bring back all your rubbish after your walk (bins on the base).
  • Respect the other users and pass away from the fishermen.
  • Fires are prohibited.


The Suisse Normande is classified Natura 2000

Natura 2000 is a European network of natural areas which aims to preserve biodiversity while enhancing the territories. There are 18 natural habitats and 16 animal species of community interest on this site. Examples include the European otter, the pearl mussel, the white-clawed crayfish or the planer's lamprey.

In particular by displaying explanations at the start of the various routes, our employees also raise customer awareness during the instructions given for their walk. Explanatory booklets are available in the trucks for customers.
